just got back from the family ski hol in france. We went to Alpe d'Huez in the franch alps. I noticed that Skoda are the official car of the resort !!! they had several vehicles near the tourist office with alpe d'huez / skoda auto livery. This included a superb 2, an octavia estate and a roomster !! they also had a promo event going on involving floodlit sledging and had skoda banners all over the place.

Probably a fairly wise marketing campaign. Those that can afford to be in Alpe d'Heuz can probably still afford a new car at the moment. And in terms of giving them to the tourist office, they aren't selling anyway so doesn't really cost anything.....
