The mould comes next.......

Featured Replies

This is the best car I have ever owned,( and I have had some right old bangers), but none of them have had this problem of rainwater leaking into the interior. I am now driving a 1.9 TDI Fabia estate, it goes like a dream, but now out of warranty. How can I fix this problem? It seems to be a common one, having read the messages posted herein. I am thinking: do I spend Hundreds of pounds on a set of new door seals, or keep the car covered under a tarpaulin every time it rains? Maybe it would be best to install an automatic bilge-pump, and for the more extreme conditions, an outboard motor. But seriously, I am really annoyed about this problem and would welcome any DIY solutions, short of emigrating with my car to a place in the world where it never rains.

welcome

Hello :)

Welcome to Briskoda

If you think your car is leaky, you should have a go in mine (the old one I mean) - I went round a corner last week in the rain and a stream of water poured onto my right sock!!!!
