octavia 1 estate cd in boot wiring connector

Featured Replies

Hi Everybody

I have an '02 octavia mk 1 estate tdi, the cd player in the boot has stopped working, When i checked it the wiring connector block was covered in water due to a split rear washer pipe leaking.

The pins on one side inside the connector block have corroded and the wires have come out and i don't know where they go ! ! ! the pins at this side of the block are..

Black wire to no.2 still connected

I now have a brown, yellow, light grey and blue wires to connect to No.4,6,8,10 or 12 pins

Can someone please have a look in there boot and tell me where these wires go, also there are 5 wires this side of the block but only 4 pins inside the connector plug.

Thanks in anticipation..

Dave

I've no clue about the wiring, try posting in the Octavia 1 forum you might get better results. :)

I've got a Mk1 Octavia headunit and changer in our Fabia Estate. Unfortunately I'm in the Mazda today but if I get the chance I'll have a look over the weekend or on Monday for you if that helps...

Which side of the connector are you looking at - the male or female side?

Hi There

Its the connector with the short bundle of wires that goes back into the cd unit.

Thanks Dave
