Well contacted my local VW dealer about the putty/sealant for Pollen Filter repair. Arrived to collect, young guy went out back handed me a thin black sticky strip and sayes there you go. How much I reply. NOTHING we have loads. Are you sure I replied. Oh yes he sayes.

Can you believe it? is there a catch? Is this the best VW dealer in the UK or has anyone else had this?

I had the whole job done for free by my Skoda garage and I didnt even have any warrantee left just a full Skoda service history. Apparently its about a £400 job which Skoda UK agreed to pay for (nodes had gone aswell), I didnt have to get my hands dirty which I call a result. Farmers Skoda Leicester, by far the best garage I have ever used.
