MFD2 climatic controls??

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone, I have searched the forums, found the installation guide but, I am unable to find an answer to my queston......

Can I fit the mfd2 into my 57 plate vrs, which has the climatic controls?

I cant seem to find any pictures with this combination, only the climatronic option.:confused:

please help, any pix or comments would be appreciated before I splash the cash.

Regards

john

Yes, it will work, they are not interdependent in any way.

just had a thought...

I have read the mfd2 install guide and I cant find a reference to the plug & play lead, that was needed for the old mfd1 in a mk1 vrs.

Is this not required? I am installing into a 57 plate with the standard fit audio unit.

So do i need an extra lead or is it already there?

thanks.

You already have everything. MFD2 uses the same Quadlock connector as your current radio. Just make sure you'll get a gps antenna with correct connector with your mfd2 unit.
