Hello my skoda superb II the panel is allways too bright, when i try to switch in the dimmer lower the response is very little i just buy a new dimmer and he stays the same in the garage they say it could be the panel, what does it like to you guys, i need help i lost money and my head is upset with all these i don´t know what to do in the garage they say

they don´t have any idea what could be, so let´s start by the panel..... As anyone experience this kind of trouble??

There are a few ppl with this issue.

My advice is watch the road and not the clocks, besides you will soon adjust to it.

I experienced the same until I tried to switch the "running day lights" feature off. Since that moment the dimmer worked as it should. I presume if you put the lights on "auto" or "daylight", the dimmer doesn't work.

My "runing day lights" are allways off, but i am going to try to put them on and then off, to see if it is any difference in the dimmer and it´s true the lights in "auto" position the dimmer doesn´t work at all, it doesn´t do anything, i am going totry that and then i tell were what happen thanks for your reponses

I almost forgot someone in a garage skoda told me that happens with the skoda when the radio mounted in car was Bolero that is my radio they say that the radio don´t let the dimmer of the dashboard doesn´t work is this could be true ???

I have SE with Bolero - my dashboard dimmer works OK.

Daytime Running lights controlled from the MFD - under the heading of "Lights". When you get in there , it will be obvious how to turn them on and off. Mine were "ON" when car delivered so i turned them off

In the garage skoda they said that could be programation of the dashboard only they don´t have machines and operator with formation for do that so it´s more easy to them switch the panel dashboard, i don´t know if i let them do that or wait to try to find out something more that help to resolve this.....

Well my friend i try it hard and nothing the dimmer don´t lower the light of the panel more than 5% maximun, As someone as this problem too, and what can i do to him to desapear, i am very sad with the car because this issue look like can´t be fixed, at the official garage skoda they don´t solve it, and they don´t know, if your car do the same as mine please help, i am going to let him to be examined next saturday by a Audi electrecian of a oficial garage, let see what he do to the auto,if he solution the problem i came here to tell to all of you the solution for a future case thanks and please verify your car if he does the same thing Thanks

when you say it works ok your dimmer how much lower from the higher to the lower scale does the lights go down 10% or 15% in the dashboard??

My car i tryed with no day time running lights and set to auto and nothing what can i do, what problem has the car for don´t dimming the dashboard ???

And if i try a reset of the system would that work ????

lowest setting is about 50-60% less than max setting

well my panel was all ok they test them and they don´t now what to do as someone else experience this problem with your cars
