Run to skinningrove anyone?

Featured Replies

Hey there folks.

Just found out about this delightful place. Looks like it would be a good day out.

Its up from scarborough on the coast.

Anyone fancy it?

Oh by the way... found out about it on "Britain's toughest Villages"! :P

This is a joke by the way... I would never want to go to this scabby looking place!

Do you mind if I take someone else's car?

;)

I did a job up there a few weeks ago, wouldnt want to rush back there:(:(:(

Its not that bad , been there a few times & never saw many people at all , theres only a few streets .

Only a small place , floods regularly , good chippy there tho

It's got a fantastic beach, and you can walk to Salturn or Staithes along the cliff top, both worth a visit. I did a bit of the Cleveland Way last year and despite living in the area for 20 years, I'd never been to Skinny. I too saw it on Britain's Toughest Villages :))

Took a nice picture looking back to Skinningrove

Hmmmmmm....Skinningrove. I can think of better places. The Steel works is a bit of an eye sore really.

How about Robin Hoods Bay? Nice little picturesque fishing village. Me & the missus have been there a few times now.
