hi soz about this jst a quick question to ask about my mates 55plate seat ibiza cupra...its a 1.8 20v turbo...he says that its lossing alot of power as soon as the turbos supposed to kick in but really only in 3rd 4th and 5th gear..he said its that slow that a 1litre corsa could overtake him...any ideas anyone.....cheers...:)

A VCDS scan is in order!

That would give an indication to the problem.

Alternatively post this on the Octy I section as the Fabia doesn't use the 1.8t

hhmmm.........possible pipe burst? My 1.8t FR blew a hose at the intercooler resulting in zero power

A scan will show any DTCs stored on the ECU whether or not there are any accompanying warning lights
