mods that fit both KO3 + KO4 engines

Featured Replies

The aim for my car is to be KO4 converted by this time next year, and i am buying all the bits as i go, cos im crap at saving money.

I dont want to buy anything that will not be needed or not fit once i have the KO4 and other parts fitted.

Im happy with all the other parts needed, I was just wandering if the outlets and inlet on the turbo were different sizes on the 2 turbos, meaning i could end up wasting money and having to replace it.

below is a list of stuff that i have on my soon to buy list,

1-Neuspeed turbo discharge pipe Awesome > Neuspeed Hi-Flow Turbo Discharge Conversion Kit 2.0T FSI

2- 3" pipewerx downpipe and cat.- is the outlet to the turbo the same on both

3-Neuspeed Hi-Flow Intercooler Pipe Coversion 2.0T Awesome > Neuspeed Hi-Flow Intercooler Pipe Coversion 2.0T

is this needed and Will this fit with the S3 intercooler installed.

I think you better buy all these parts together and instead of K04 conversion i'd at least go for the ATP GT2871R turbo kit which is capable of 400 hp. K04 conversion is not a big step out IMO.

I'd also consider buying the Bulletproof PCV Stage 2 + Catch Can, KMD FSI big injectors, autotech fuel pump and forge's intercooler esp. designed for our cars.

theres a big price difference with it though.

i think the main reason i want to do it is cos the KO4 is vw oem parts

Wots the problem with the K04? Backdraft are seeing 360bhp on thier K1 Leon Cupra!
