Change instrumentation light from green to blue

Featured Replies

I am told that you can get kits where you can replace the green instrumentation on skoda (speedometer, climate, light height adjustment - you name it) to the VW blue/red diodes, are there some who know the price, and possible circumstances where it is?

You'd need to be good at soldering as they are SM LED's.

When I did my Vectra I used www.crazyleds.co.uk

The Vectra C dashboard is all SMD's so he should be able to provide you with what you need.

If you speak to Gary at Profile Automotive 0161 4069797 he has a bloke in that swaps the LED's over on Focus ST dash pods and he sounded pretty confident it could be done on a vRS so id imagine any other skoda could be done. though I see you're in denmark so you'd probly have to remove your dash pod and send it off to him

Did my Octavia 1 by swapping parts from the Golf mk4 dash but not sure if the Golf mk5 has the same switches and instrument cluster though.
