1.6 GLXI Problems - A Result, hopefully

Featured Replies

Hi All

Had this problem with a 1.6, http://briskoda.net/favorit-felicia-fun-forman/felicia-1-6-glxi-problem/136861/

Got a code reader and got this result, http://briskoda.net/favorit-felicia-fun-forman/fault-codes-felicia-1-6-a/140050/

Have now changed to O2 sensor, and have no fault codes.

So fingers crossed.......

Maybe this will help others.

Thanks to all those who sent suggestions.

Because it was obviously just too much like hard work! I have found this with a couple of dealers... anything that isn't straight forward parts ordering or repairs they seem to loose all interest in trying to find the problem!

Glad you got it sorted though! That code reader will come in handy in the future no doubt.

I've lost count of all the times I've had to reset the airbag and ABS after taking things apart!

Depends on the dealer.

Parkside in Bolton are always pleased to offer assistance even though i have my own mechanic who works on my car.

My local Skoda dealer 'Faintree Garage' are superb. They know Skoda inside out and being a family run business, they work hard to uphold their reputation but sadly garages like this are getting hard to find. This is why I bought another Skoda, the only dealer for miles that I trust implicitly with my car.
