Rear door cards - how can they be removed?

Featured Replies

Hi:)

Does anyone know how this can be done? Just spent 3 hours in the cold windy weather trying to get one off so I could replace a sticking door lock. :finger:Judging by other threads, it may not necessarily be the problem. i.e. could be central locking failure?:o

Whichever it is, getting the inner door card off would be heaven. My local dealer wanted £180 for the new lock fitted. I got a lock for £40, so it just needs fitting. But without getting the inner card off, not sure how this can be done. Looks like they're riveted to the window mechanism and don't want to risk breaking the plastic split washer that seems to attach it (the card that is) to the window slider inside.

Can anyone help?
