I noticed in the paper that TradeSales are advertising an '07 VRs for £8k. It doesn't say leather so presumably it isn't a Ltd VRs. Didn't say mileage either, but I thought £8k was a fair price?

depends on mileage and condition, without knowing more about the car you couldnt say even half that is a fair price.

I paid 7295 for my 07 plate 'standard' vRS. It had 32k on the clock and has 17" spiders fitted as well as uprated suspension, ARB, xenons etc.

Was fairly happy with the price considering all the extras which were fitted.
