new shape vrs

Featured Replies

One dealer has just told me that the new face lift vrs is now in production.

I don't believe him. Edited to say.... Maybe I should. Just seen the how much value will the old vrs lose thread.

I hope so but I doubt it. I called Skoda UK last week and they were pretty clueless. Infact one dealer called me this week trying to sell me an LE and told me there isn't going to be a facelifted vRS!! :eek:

They will tell you anything in order to sell you a car. I phoned one dealer last week, and he told me he had the last LE vrs. Rubbish. I know there is one more here in Yorkshire.

Yeah defo dealers are having a really hard time atm, cars are really not shifting from forecourts as fast as last year

Got an e-mail from Fleet News yesterday, see here;- Skoda comes of age in fleet market | Fleet News in which it says;

"In June Skoda will launch a full facelift of the Octavia VRS and Scout and a Greenline version of the Octavia.

The Greenline will emit just 116g/km CO2 and will be targeted at fleets. It will mean that Skoda has a Greenline derivative for Fabia, Octavia and Superb."

.... so facelift Vrs and Scout ought to be in production now to be in dealers for June.

I bet that Greenline is going to be the dog breakfast if any like VW Blue green range of cars, nasty insides, ride and sloooow. All in the name of greenness.... no thank you in a car you own, fine in hire car or taxi.

James.
