Ipod Touch help needed

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, i'm hoping someone can help me?

Yesterday i was forced to format my laptop back to factory settings, and as a result i lost all my music in Itunes... Not really a problem as i put them back in, and re-synced the ipod with no problems, however all my Applications have stopped working.

Both the Ipod and the laptop are signed into Itunes with the same account details, so i decided to 'sync' the Applications in the hope they would be refreshed, but instead they have vanished.

I have spent the last hour trying (in vain) to locate the missing applications and reinstall them, but i have forgotten most of them and its becoming a nuiscance.

Does anyone know of an option on itunes where i can find the applications i already own, and download them again?

TIA :o

Backing up itunes stuff is your responsibility, and Apple wont help with any losses.

Have you authorised the PC again?

Never realised it could be backed up, and everything seemed to be working ok untill the applications stopped working.

I tried de-auth and re-auth the comp, but that never helped..

I had to manually hunt them down and re-install them in the end. Bit of a pain, but got it done.

if they are not in the iTunes folder then they are gone for good and you will have to re download. Im pretty sure you can do this for free as it will be registered to your apple id that you have downloaded this before but don't quote me on that

I was able to download them for free, but had to manualy search for them. I half expected itunes to recognise the missing content against my user ID, and download it for me... pfft no chance.

Nevermind, problem solved now :)

You're lucky.

If it's music or vids, then if it's gone it's gone!
