Hello everyone,

i'm Darren, everyone calls me Cali, hence the name.

Currently driving a Ford Focus TDCi 1.8 2004 and a Volvo 850 T5 GLE, the focus is my daily run around and the volvo is my toy, currently pushing about 260bhp. I also own and run a local modified car web site.

I'm looking to buy a Octavia VRS roughtly a 2004/5 model. but i have to wait for the finance company to take the focus away and then sell the volvo for cash to mod the Octy.

So can anyone tell me the pro's and con's of the VRS.

Hi there and welcome,

depends on what sort of power your after from a vrs really? as it can be fairly pricey to get to a similar power figure of the volvo you have,plus traction can be an issue with higher power but you can buy a 1.8t 4x4 octavia instead of a vrs if you wish
