Hey, I am a newbie on this site.

I own a Skoda Felicia 1.3 glxi. Recently i got a problem when i'm trying to shift down to first gear as i go it's very difficult and makes little crunching noise. All other gears are fine also when the car is still first gear comes smooth.

Is it normal? mabe there's a speed range for every gear? where can find it?

First gear is primarily meant for moving off in any car. I would only select first if crawling and I think second will make the engine lug. However, the problem selecting first sounds unusual. I guess it could either be the gearbox or maybe a problem with the clutch (or it's adjustment).

could be a worn gearbox mounting causing that too
