Stereo Connectors and stearing controls

Hi All

Looking to install me Blaupunkt MP56 stereo as my when i disconnected the Symphony it asked for the code (which i dont have) :mad: . Was told in the forum i didnt need to worry about this!

When i trying to install the Blaupunkt, if i connect the top plug (the yellow, green and blue) one the display on the stereo goes bananas. As soon as i disconnect it, it goes ok. Any ideas what this plug is for? Is there any way i can get the stearing wheel controls to work too?

Hi All, I know this is a topic that seems to have been covered a million times but my vRS has become a problem child. It was losing a small amount of coolant and I would get the odd whisp of steam from the back, I diagnosed a leaking EGR Cooler (confirmed with off car pressure test) and a small water pump leak. I replaced both and thought my work here was done. However it now seems to have made losses worse, this time from the reservoir, so yesterday I did a 90 min motorway drive and by the t

Hi Everyone, I have a Factory fitted electric Tow bar. Last time I use, it was 5 years ago I believe. I tried to use it Today no chance not releasing. It has a green light always but whenever I pull it out light changes to red blinking and tow bar is not releasing. I used some wd-40 and rust cleaner but still result didn't' change. I also tried to pull out the tow bar with bare hand or hit the mechanism with a wood or hammer(kindly), still no chance. Anyone faced the same issue?

Airbag error, what can reset it?

During my hardwire dash cam install, I removed the trim which holds the passenger airbag switch and unplugged it. Now (unsurprisingly) I have an airbag error on the dash. I’ve cycled the ignition a few times in hopes that would reset it, I also tried enabling and disabling the airbag with the key, still no joy. Is this something I can reset at home? I’m hoping something like ODBeleven free plan can do it, but it’s difficult finding out what the free plan can actually do.
