Anyone used one of these?

Featured Replies

I have one of. these and it's never let me down. Handy little tool to keep in the boot as you never know when you might need one. I would say one thing and that is you get a code entry program that runs on your computer as well as a breakdown of codes on the instructions. The instructions do not contain all the codes so you may get a code you can't decipher on the road.

If I where buying again I would go for something that gives a code and explanation like V Checker or VAG 405. Bit more money but worth it in the long run.

I have a similar one and it does exactly what it says it'll do. Reads and clears codes. Definately better than being charged a fortune by the dealers for the service. As Le has said, the instructions don't list all the codes, but a quick search of Briskoda generally explains them.

I have one similar to this but it displays a 4 digit code and not the true OBD codes of the VAG group. Although the book or error codes expalins the faults i would prefer the true codes. If this one displays it, i may buy one too.
