Hmmm so for information purposes only, has anyone got a digital copy of the service manual for the Superb, if so is it any good? Have taken a search around the forums and can't find much of a mention.

Am I also right in thinking the service manual for the Passat B5 would make a good substitute? Have taken a scan around the net but can't find much, wondered if anyone else was luckier?

Haynes 4279 applies to 4 cyl Superbs but it's full of the usual inaccuracies and photographs of the "wrong version" of modifications etc. The oil spec for PD engines is wrong!

In some instances, it's slightly better than nothing.

A glowing review then huh? I've seen a few ads on eBay but whether or not they were any good I didn't know
