Ipod / Bluetooth Handsfree Installation

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Wonder whether anyone had any ideas on this one....

I've got a Connects2 Ipod kit (replaces CD changer) installed on my symphony headunit in my Mk1 Octavia. Had the kit for about a year now, it works fine and had no problems. The other day I bought a Parrot CK3000 Evolution handsfree kit and installed it. Really pleased with this neat bit of kit and it seems to work well.

Now here's the problem... After installation I tried my Ipod out and it is as if there is a really weak signal. I turned the stereo almost to full volume and still could barely hear the Ipod. I also noticed some minor interference on the radio. Checked all the connections and all seems to be correct. I guess the obvious possibility is interference between the control units for each piece of kit.

So has anyone installed a similar piece of kit or had similar problems? Thanks
