Felt I had to let you know about the simply brilliant service given by my local Dealer.

We bought the car (ex-demo vRS Octy PD) about a month ago from Westover Skoda, Corfe Mullen.

I went to Scotland at Easter and during the journey noticed a humming coming from the tyres. When I checked they are wearing unevenly on the insides of the rear tyres.

The car has been lowered by Skoda prior to our purchase and I thought it may be this.

When I took it back to Westover I was prepared for the usual fob off..........nothing wrong etc etc etc.

The technician looked at all 4 tyres and simply said that the Dunlops sometimes do this and they all need changing. He said he would have a word with the service desk and ask them to call me.

They called me today to say the dealer principle had cleared it and the 4 tyres were in stock for fitting tomorrow free of charge, and he apologised for the inconvenience and asked me if Continentals were ok :eek:

I couldn't believe my ears !!

Just bear in mind that the tyres have already covered 13k miles and I have done 5k of that in the last month !!

A huge pat on the back me thinks for WESTOVER SKODA OF CORFE MULLEN.
