Hi folks, just wondering if anyone is using or has heard of an oem intercooler that would fit my Fabia VRS rather than going down the expensive Forge route?

You may wish to speak to a member called TokyoPhil or alternatively ninja_alex, I believe they've both recently done DIY front mounts

The standard FMIC off an Ibiza Cupra? I believe the intercooler itself is cheaper than the Forge but the piping is pricey? Cheaper option would be something like TokyoPhil or ninja_alex have done, but not everything was off the shelf so to speak(?)

i was thinking something from the VAG stable, or another manufacturer, that i could pick up 2nd hand.

The actual intercooler might be cheaper but its the piping and ancillaries that cost the money. Also the Forge one is designed specifically for the VRS meaning that after a map the performance is going to be spot on.
