Octavia 2 Elegance Autolights and Vag-COM

Featured Replies

Hi.

I have an Octavia 2 Elegance 1.6 and i have vag-com diagnostic tool and i was wondering how can i activate or turn on automatic day lights. I want my headlights to turn on by themselves automaticly when i enter in tunnel for example. Also how can i see if there is a sensor for the wiper's fluid level and how to turn on the original alarm buzzer when i click "unlock" or "lock" . Now it doesnt make any sound just "click" :)

Regards and sory for my poor english .

For the automatic lights, see this thread. You need to buy a new switch etc. Any your alarm beep..

[Long Coding - 07]

[Long Coding Helper]

Click on each of the Byte numbers in step 3) and you'll see the selectable options below.

Check the box for "Locking Confirmation (Horn) via Remote Control"

Check the box for "Unlocking Confirmation (Horn) via Remote Control"

Close the Long Coding Helper by clicking the Windows X box on the top right of the screen or clicking the Exit button on the top left of the screen) will send your new Coding value back to the Coding screen.

If you haven't got headlight washers you can't have a warning for washer bottle sensor without a lot of work replacing bottle and wiring etc. Pretty sure you need rain sensor too to have auto lights however all info is contained in link above and for Alarm plip just follow instructions above
