Skoda back seat removal

Featured Replies

Hello, maybe some one have instruction or can write how to remove back seats of Skoda Superb 2005? Thanks

It's pretty obvious and straightforward apart from the centre seat belt which fouls things up. Unwind the centre inertia belt and keep it there with a large croc clip. Remove centre hinge bracket and disengage folding seats at the hinge pins. Remove Isofix bar adjacent to seat belt anchorage (not essential but it makes the job considerably easier) and remove seat belt anchorage. Lift out the remaining seat. The squab pulls out at the front and slots in at the back.

If you fail to anchor the centre belt before removing the seat, it winds up into the seat and won't come out again. Guess how I found out...

Not the world's best piece of engineering - the French do it far better and their seats fold properly. The previous Passat also had seats which folded fully.
