No switched live on iso block ?

Featured Replies

 Tell me I'm wrong here but my felly doesn't have a switch live on the iso block. Which means my parrot kit will be on permantly.

So me being in a lazy mood :o, has anyone taken a switch live to the iso block and where did they take it from ?

Cheers

With the Felicia it's probably easier with the fog light switch or direct from the ignition.

I believe that there is a switched live, but its a bugger to get to (headlights, springs to mind) I think TeflonTom mentioned it someplace...

alternatively, you could, you know, fit one of these IM A LINK, CLICK ME!! :o

The switched live is accessible at the back of the ignition switch and in the fusebox.

Switched live is labelled 15 on the back of the ignition switch and a piggy back spade connector is available (if there's nothing else connected to it). Here's a pic of a Favorit ignition switch, but I think the Felicia one is the same... The number 15 connector is the one at the top so probably best accessed from the top with the instrument panel out.

Looking at the Haynes wiring diagram the switched live wire in the fuse box should be identified by the marker BF/2 and should be a black wire. Test with a multimeter and the key in the ignition before chopping up though :)

I just took one from the fuse box the black one suggested above.

I just shoved the wire into where the existing wire goes into the connector block and secured it with an ickle cable tie.

Works like a charm and now I don't have to turn the stereo off manually!
