Android v1.5

Featured Replies

Anyone else in the elite G1 group ;) get 1.5 OTA this morning?

Didn't think much of it, until I noticed the onscreen keyboard appear :D

Here's a rundown of this tweaks/changes. Doesn't mention improvement to battery performance, but here's hoping! Quite a few decent improvements there though, and already noticeable in usage.

I know Luke has as he sent me an IM this morning asking me what it was all about. Lol

I havn't got it yet as I am still waiting for the modded version to come along.

For some reason I thought they were introducing multi-touch into this build too but doesn't look like it. I have it anyway so no probs for me and it's not that useful anyway tbh.

In using it today, the on-screen keyboard still seems a little reluctant to appear and there seems to be no way of calling it up manually, which might have been handy. Plus it says it can display in landscape mode, but I've not managed that yet!

Ah well, it's all good :)
