Great garage for your Skoda - Bristol

Featured Replies

If you need an MOT, repair, service, an authorised REVO re-map or just about anything for your Skoda (or any other car!) then get down to Streetwise automotive:

http://www.streetwise-automotive.co.uk/

10 & 11 Whitehall Trading Est. Gerrish Avenue, Whitehall, Bristol BS5 9DF

(Entrance on Cooksley Road) Tel: 0117 9559666 / 9550998

They specialise in Skoda/Audi/VW etc and I have been there a couple of times now. They have provided A* service at a very good price. I would highly recommend them if you need anything doing as they will not rip you off and give you good, honest advice and service . Just thought I would spread the word as it is hard to find a good specialised Skoda garage who are well priced unlike main dealer Skoda in Bristol!!

Looks good. Hope the free MOT offer (with a full service) is still on in a couple of months when mine is due...

oooo I actually been looking for a new place to take my car after the last really bad Service from Clist n Rattle in Bristol

Hi

I used Heritage for years, until I was recommended to try 'Streetwise Automotive' by a friend. They are newly opened and specialists in VAG vehicles, plus they are newly apointed REVO Technik agents (which may also be of some interest). I went in for a look and to get some prices, only to find the Ex-workshop manager of Heritage running the place, he was one of the few genuine people at Heritage, and knows his stuff as he worked his way up through the ranks. A service and MOT on my PD golf was just over £200 (with the correct oil) which is a damn site less than Heritage. A proffessional looking place with plenty of parking and a great service.

I for one am really please to have found this place.

Call 0117 9559666 and ask for Mitch

Hope this helps someone.

Hi

To follow up on the previous recommendation, I have also found Streetwise Automotive to be very professional. Very well ordered environment, very experienced. All the benefits of going to a dealership but without the extra cost.

And another one..... Following your recommendations above I took my Passat to Streetwise Automotive in Bristol, and had the cambelt changed and my persistent thumping noise stopped with a nice new nearside driveshaft. The oft-mentioned Mitch was excellent, and they even vacuumed the car, which should be a chargeable expense in my case.:beerchug:

Based upon the recommendations here, I took my Sharan into Streetwise for a cam belt and MOT. I found them very straightforward and seem to have done all I asked for very tidily. They were going to clean it inside and out but I got down there to collect it too soon and I didn't want to wait.

I too would recomend them. They didn't seem too busy at the time so I recommend anyone who is holding back to get down there and give them the work as we don't want decent garages like this to go under in the present climate.

NEED I SAY ANYMORE!! YOU ALSO GET A FREE GAME AND CAR WASH, TOP JOB.

There latest offer is a Full service and MOT for £125.

This offer is for any make and model of vehicle, I have my wifes 1.6 Ford Focus booked in for this week.

Pretty sure it's just enthusiastic feedback. :D

Fair enough:thumbup:. I'm sure people like Ross have to pay for their adverts so wouldn't want someone else getting it for free

If he'd joined a couple of days ago I would be suspicious but it was Dec 2007, and there's been other (normal) threads aside from this one, so no reason to be alarmed. Good feedback should never be supressed in my opinion.

Having been ripped off and ****ed off by other garages in the past and always worrying pre mot and when I hear a funny noise, service etc I feel I have to really praise a place when they stop you feeling like this. Perceive it as what you want but you will see what I mean if you go there. If you get service you don't expect then I'm sorry but I doubt you will, wish I was on commission - I'm just too nice. Devontopia you have summed it up nicely, the reason I went there this time is detailed in a thread I have put on about a suspected manifold problem, I have NO reason to lie/advertise!! Over and out.

Well I been sold I think I will try them next service.

mmmm sounds good

mine is due MOT in 2 week so might get it over there.

I've exchanged a couple of emails with Mitch, and they're keeping the offer open for a while yet. He said they'd use Quantum fully synth oil, Mann filter and Bosch plugs for the vRS. Sounds way too good to turn down. They're also gonna fit my rear pads and discs for £50 labour (I've already got the bits), which seems OK.

Well I am booked in for tuesday lol

cant wait to see what the place is like.

billy

OK

MOT - PASS thank god.

What a place, family work there and very friendly, answered all my questions and even had a small chat. Will def be going back for anything the car needs. A* place and very highly recomended. Even fitted my TIP and it makes a nice diff.

If you in Bristol and need your car sortin then Streetwise IS the place to go.
