Well i decided to set some precious time aside to fit the predator pads and new disc's. I got both sides stripped down and calipers cleaned up. Upon fitting i couldn't get the caliper back on straight. Anyway put it on wonky thinking it would straighten itself up and did the other side. Couldn't get this side on right either :confused:, i checked the pads against each other, they were different!!

I got pp312 which all the sites say is for the Vrs but they were wrong. I've contacted the shop and I'm going to get them swapped. Am i correct in thinking that on Octavia pads for the 288mm disc's also fit the 312mm disc's?

How the hell Black diamond do not know about this problem is beyond me but i wasted 3 hours .

update. My supplier tried to arrange to send these pads back to black diamond. He explained that their catalogue was wrong but they would not accept them back because i tried to fit them and they were a little scratched. My supplier said he would take them back. So a big thanks to dan at dc dezign. black diamond i am not happy with you, this is very bad customer service!

I've dealt with Dan at DC Dezign in the past and he's a top bloke.

I had a Koni kit from them but it was scratched quite badly so he arranged to get them picked up and a new kit sent out – no quibble, and really helpful and apologetic. It only took about a few days so I was really pleased.

That's what customer service is all about

thats not good at all from BD! I like the Predator pads a lot but on this I dont see me usin them again! or Black diamond discs, ever!

Hope they are monitoring this!

If something doesnt fit what they say it should then its their fault.

Black Daimond Discs are awesome.....pads not so...worse than the standard pads, I'm on my second set of DS2500's with BD Discs and I can't see much out there that would beat them short of a big brake conversion!!

I heard they were quite good and have come out well on reviews. I will still be getting predators as they are good for the price but they will be either the pp279 or pp360 fast road not track pad. Their customer service is very bad, dan said they didnt seem to care that their listing was wrong!
