Centre vents not working / discs

Two things have cropped up on my new vrs.

First up, no air from centre vents. It's not a disconnected hose as there seems to be no air blasting from unexpected areas of the dash. Anyone else had this problem? My local Benfield dealership in Harrogate is sorting this out.

Second is slightly more worrying. Pitted rusted front discs, more than likely resulting from storage in wet environments for a sustained period. I had a brake judder for the first 100 miles which has now gone. The discs are still a bit of a mess though and the pitting is still evident along with grooving starting to occur, this after only 400 miles. Benfield say that Skoda will not replace these under warranty. I might have to go back to the dealer a bought from to see if they will change them. Thoughts and advice appreciated.
