Everyone always has a moan when the dealers are **** and mess you around, so here is a nice change. A good dealer :)

Basically, my tailgate was rusting behind the number plate. Went to T&P and spoke to Simon, the warranty guy. Told me to Email him pictures of it and he would forward them to SUK for a possible claim. Took me about a fortnight to get my finger out and send them on (although, part of that was my computer being a bit gay). Few phone calls and that was sorted, pics on their way. Simon reckoned they would respond in 3 days, and on the 3rd day, an email saying it had been rejected

Phoned Simon again, told him basically, that i wasnt happy with Skoda's response, and gave me the number for customer care. Phoned them and had a moan, and they said the dealer can submit the claim as many times as they wish. Quick call to T&P again, and more pictures were on the way, again, 2 weeks later :o

The corrosion had started flaking the paint off by now, Next day, he phoned and said SUK had replied, and would cover the cost of repair. Booked into Camerons VW in Perth (who also done a bloody good job) for warranty repair

So, a big  to Simon and also Ann-Marie at T&P for being so patient with me, and a good outcome. Couldnt have helped me out any more :)

Thats good to hear!

I've been into there a few times for parts - good service. same with the newmarket dealers in Stirling!

The corrosion warranty is for rusting from the inside out, as yours is and I would of thought this job would have been sorted 1st. time. I'm glad your happy with this result.
