Octy II Questions.....

Cheers guys, i've never had autolights/wipers/mirror so its no loss not to have them. I'd be happy with cruise, maxi dot and a climatronic duel zone air con!

FYI: I think the dual-zone climatronic air con only became standard on the vRS towards the end of 2008.

That auto wipers are great fun - I've done whole trips in varying levels of rain where I realise on arriving that I've never had to touch the wiper lever...

The dipping rear view mirror is another feature that makes driving a bit more pleasant at night. Easy to live without, but also easy to appreciate the difference in having it. On some models the wing mirrors dip down when you select reverse so you can see kerbs better too.

Of the cars i've looked at so far the ones with cruise seem to have duel zone climate too. At least i can see that from pics ;)

Steering wheel - buttons in the wrong place too close to the rim - too easy to press 'em when using the wheel for its prime purpose - ie steering! You will probably get used to this over time.

Either you have big hands, or a strange way of steering! You have to firmly press the buttons for it to register!

Maxidot - you can adjust so many settings on the car, that without you need a dealer or someone with vagcom to do.

So worth the £150 I paid for it and the MFSW! Much better than £3-500 retro fit ;)
