In the last 1,000 miles or so my furby seems to have lost alot of it's grunt.

When accelerating hard in first and second it seems to struggle upto 2k RPM, have and massive dip in acceleration then at around 2.5K RPM the car seems to pull like it used to. Also when crusining around the 2K RPM mark the car sometimes starts to jerk (and not it not my shakey feet :P )

The car feels nothing like my GF's furby :mad: which goes like a rocket....

Then car is in for a service in just over a 1,000 miles, but just wondering what it might be?

Find a friendly chap with VAG-COM and they can do real-time monitoring of the MAF to see if it's behaving as it should

Does having a vRS with 4X4 bring a noticeable improvement to the car?

This is a follow up to a previous question I posed recently. I had a 2008 vRS for over 12 years and really loved it before moving on to something different. Looking to getting back into vRS ownership again and toying with the idea of finding one with the 4x4 drive train. If anyone has been able to compare the two, is there a noticeable improvement in road handling with this variant? Thanks

Hi all I have a ŠKODA Fabia 2008 with the absolute basic speedometer cluster, I was fortunate enough to be able to acquire a MFA+ version from a Roomster, which by my understanding is basically enough, however I am having some issues understanding how to adapt the millage to reflect what my car actually has the donor cluster has more millage than my car and I wonder if it is possible to update the millage to reflect the car millage, I am aware this is a bit of a grey area but I want to have a c

Hi, i now have a Kodiac IV hybrid as my company car, 5 weeks old and already 5500 miles, so getting lots of use. Couple of things i have concerns about. The brakes don't seem to be up to the job, i thought it might be because they were new and would bed in, but sometimes i really have to stand on the pedal to get it to stop, i doubt weather they are strong enough to bring any form of anti lock into operation, and secondly, several times now i haven't been able to refuel, the pump nozzle clicks o

Hi I would like some advice feedback. I just had my 3rd major service for my 2023 Skoda Octavia VRS and noticed that this time they used 0w-20 oil but the previous they used 0w-30w oil. According to my understanding the oil recommended for the tsi engine is 0w-20 to its thinner viscosity meeting emissions regulations and being better for the turbo engines under heavy loads than the 0w-30 which has a thicker viscosity. Thankfully i don't place much load on the engine, apart for loading the car f
