vibration when slowing down

Featured Replies

driving to work this morning every time i eased off the accelerator a large amount of vibration would come from the front passengerside wheel. when accelerating it would stop and when breaking it would reduce. any ideas what could cause this?

If the vibration occurs under braking, I would say warped brake discs. However, if the vibration develops as the car slows down naturally i.e. without any braking assistance, I would check the following things:

- wheel balance

- wheel bearing

- driveshafts

- general check of all steering and suspension linkages

- check wheel nuts are tight
