Hello, I have a knocking noise which happens only when I go slowly over uneven ground/bumps. If I am travelling at say 50mph+ it doesnt knock!

I have replaced both front wishbones and noticed the bottom rad mounts were busted. I have padded the radiator with hose pipe and now it doesnt move (passenger side was a PITA).

What else would only knock at low speeds? Sounds like its coming from front passenger side.

I too have the same on my Fabia VRS - probably the common knock that is just a "feature" of the car. Might get mine looked at under warranty this month though.

I have had the same sort of problem when going over rough ground slowly.

After a few trips to garage and having the wishbones replace aswell the cause of

the problem was an exhaust mount at the centre of the vehicle.

Easy fix - it was just welded back on.

Could well be this for you aswell.

Possibly exhaust centre mount - fixable with a couple of Jubilee clips (lots of info on forum), or ARB drop links.
