Hello Skoda Peeps

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Just bought an 06 Skoda Superb V6 TDi Edition 100. It follows 2 V6 TDi Passats and, for the last 2 years, a BMW 530i Sport.

Loved the Passats, was never too sure about the Beemer. As you can't get a Passat with the lovely V6 TDi engine any more, I thought I'd go for the Superb seeing as its effectively a fully loaded Passat anyway.

The car seems to have everything except bluetooth and an MP3/Ipod interface so I'm posting a question on the Superb forum about that if anyone can help me.

Don't want to appear snobbish but it did take me a week or so to overcome the thought of buying a Skoda, even though we ran a Fabia estate for 3 years or so as a 2nd vehicle (and it was a great car). Still, head ruled over heart in the end and I took the plunge. Against likely competitors - S Type, A6, 530d it offered more kit per £ and after my experience of the VW's, I thought it would stand the test of 100k miles over and above the existing 20 without too much bother.

So, look forward to active membership.

J
