Bluetooth + MP3/IPod Query

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone, Newbie calling. See my intro in the new member section.

I'm sure its been a frequent post but I can't find a direct answer yet.

Just bought a V6 TDi Superb Edition 100 with Sat Nav and all the bits but suprisingly no bluetooth or Ipod dock (but everything else including the kitchen sink).

Is there an aux input on the back of the sat nav for digital player input and what do people do about Bluetooth? I know I can fit a dennison or Parrot, I just wondered if there was anything already included in the wiring loom that I could tap into.

All replies appreciate.

I bought a soundlinx controller for my last superb. It allows you to connect a secondary device to the stereo via RCA. So I had the 6cd changer and I had an M-station MP3 jukebox connected with a 120gb hard drive. But you could connect the ipod through it too. It allows you to switch between cd and aux. Other option is to buy the genuine ipod lead from Skoda.

I got the Parrot MKI9200 a few weeks ago and have to say its very good.

I currently have my HTC phone attached, a 16Gb usb drive with all my albums on, a 8Gb SD card with audiobooks on and the kids plug in their IPOD classic on occasion.

All work great and are controled from the steering wheel.

I tried the AUX in with the Ipod but you had no control over it with the controls (song selection etc)

The Major drawback is you cant have the satnav interupt your music .

I have my iPod connected via a Dietz 1213 lead, which was about £30. Only gives you audio into the Aux, plugging the lead in the back etc, and no control over the iPod. But it suits me, so I am happy with it.
