Octavia VRS Estate 03 how rare?

Featured Replies

Not trying to blow my own trumpet or nothing but I've been looking around to see what my car's worth as I'm thinking of selling (if the price is right) and found all sorts of conflicting information.... From £3000 to £5000. Fact is, I found one on autotrader for £4300 which sold within half an hour of the advert being placed! for sale. There is one on the Skoda website that has gone already... What do you all think?

How much should I sell it for...

Full service history from Skoda until the last one which was done by my local'ish garage that I've used for about 12 years and would trust him with my life! Cambelt done with brake pads all round....

A few country living marks (twigs and light branchs) that could be easily polished out which I'll look into fixing...

I'll replace it with a Skoda 4x4 but will have something else until i find the right one... keep it in the family

Cheers

milage ??? no there not rare;) need more info to put a price on it

it is still a buyers market and if the bodywork isnt the best dont expect top money....

just turned 70k on the clock.

The light scratchs on the body work do not go to the metal by any means and I'm sure I'd sort it before it was sold as silly to sell without it done.

i would say you should look the £4250 mark and look to take £4150

any piccys?

Mate at work sold his 03 Vrs estate 6mths ago for £2900.

I sold my 54-plate hatch about 6 months ago for £4250, so you should be aiming below that I'm afraid.

Easily mid 3s or less in the current market and with scratched paintwork. That's just how it is right now.

03s may be rare as that was the year the combi vRS was introduced.

does anybody know the production figures for this year?

Dunno, but mine was an 03

I had an 03 estate and got it cheap because of low demand for that type of vehicle.

It did not stop me buying a MKII estate though :)

Picked up my 53 plate estate early this year with 33k on it, full skoda history and immaculate paint for £3900.

I think we pay slightly more for cars up in Scotland as the more widely distributed population makes for more of a sellers market (less dealers per square mile so less competition).

I bought an 05 plate vRS Estate for £4300. High mileage at 96k but full Skoda history.

Mines a 53 ? just picked up..
