I have a template which uses a table to have data and fields.

Does anyone know how I can select cells, and have their data automatically update part of the footer?

Ie I have a doc number, subject and page x of y in the footer, and want the doc number and subject to be the same as in the doc table.

Using Word 2003 & 2007.
