gonna change the oil in my gearbox soon, i have located the drian plug and the filler plug but which one of the other torx bolts do i take out and is it safe to take out, also when re filling i take it you fill up to the level of the filler plug hole

I can't say I remember, but whatever you do undo the filler plug before you try and undo the drain as if this doesn't come undone you're left with an un-drivable car.

i drained my gearbox oil last week on my 04 octy vrs & i just drained it out of the drain plug hole & got just under 2 litres of old oil out,i filled it through the filler/level plug until the fresh oil ran out of the hole then when it stopped running out i re fitted the plug,there was a picture put on this forum showing which bolt to take out on the box,if you do a search it should come up,capacity of gearbox oil is 1.9 litres.
