Featured Replies

Popped over to Awesome today to pick a little box up.

Must say a very big 'Thanks You!' to Sarah for arranging this for me,you are Awesome.

The original plan was to replace my knacked powerlex wishbone bushes, but now i think i will be changing a lot more.

All wishbone bushes will be replaced (powerflex front ones are still ok)

Dogbone mount (i have a spare) including front and rear bushes.

Rear Beam bushes.

and maybe front ARB bushes.

Hopefully the rear wishbone bushes will last longer than the powerflex ones.

How long did you get out of the PF's ????

About 2/3 months before they went how they are now.I have been driving for 6 months with then like this now.

Mine sort of spread themselves in the wishbone.

I getting a refund on them so not to fussed, just need to find the time to change them.

nice:D:D

the powerflex one (old model where complete crap and the arm would rip them to shreads!!!

can confirm the new improved one are 100% better and so far i have no problems with them much stronger and better fitment:thumbup:

jay you the man keep it up buddy ;)

I just didn't want to fit them any so i had 2 options, cupra r/tt bushes or superpro.

Superpro won!

I may be changing a couple of them as i'm thinking of changing the rear wishbone bushes to the offset ones to increase camber on turn in.

Oooh Jason

There is always something ;) this modding thing is like a drug......when you start :(

But hey , glad we could keep you smiling

Let me know how you get on.....

Take care

Sarah

does anyone have photo's of a "new version" powerflex rear wishbone bush please?

I've just replaced my Powerflex wishbone bushes, they've done 16K miles in 16 months and the rear ones, particularly nearside, were hanging out, and have been like it for approx. 8K I suppose. I eventually changed them because I couldn't keep front wheel tracking in one place for long..

I've replaced with Superpro, which by comparison fit a lot lot better. I wasn't aware that PF may have a redesigned rear bush and would be interested to see what it looks like.

ps.. jaymd - where was your refund coming from - PF or supplier?

Oooh , now that I would not know

Sorry now that I do not know........

Sorry

But I do know this part has changed a bit
