Heater control lights

Featured Replies

Hi,

My sister has just brought a 1999 (T) plate Octavia. We have just been having a look at it and the dashlights for the heater controls are not lighting up. I'm hoping that just a few bulbs have blown.

My queston is how do I remove the trim to get behind the heater controls.

The heater is manual not the digital clitmate control.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Anybody???

Hi felicia_skoda, easy fix this one...simply pull off the centre rotary fan control switch. You can then access the single capless bulb (which illuminates all three controls). Use a short length of plastic washer tube (or similar) to extract the bulb. Replace the bulb with one of the same type and wattage. Let me know how you get on, regards, Kevin.

You can pull the fan switch off with a pair of pliers, but pad it with some cardboard first to avoid marking it.
