Yesterday my aircon/heating fans stopped working..first thought was "another trip to the bloody service centre!!".

I've had numerous problems with my 57 VRS deisel! I won't bore you - I've been unlucky....

Anyway to cut a long story short a pulled the 10amp fuse from the fuse box just to check and it seemed ok. Stuck it back in and turned on the ignition and they started working again!

Looks like vibration may cause the fuses to come loose.:eek:

Lets hope something important doesn't decide to drop out whilst driving!

So, if you find something ain't working check the fuses first...it might save you a trip to the garage.

Sounds like the controller got confused and has re-set

You might be right - never thought of that!

At least its working again. Wasn't looking forward to the 80 mile trek up the M6 tomorrow with no aircon..
