Want a cup holder

Featured Replies

Got a 2001 L & K estate and I want a cup holder. Is there an official retro fit, or do I have to fit some sort of Halfords abortion. Any help out appreciated

Does yours not have the one in the centre console beside the handbrake?

My 2003 Elegance has one there, so that is one option.

The other maybe the DIN sized twin cup holder from a MkV Polo which would fit in place of the cubby hole under the radio.

I was wondering if the leather trim on the L&K was stretched over the pop-up cupholder next to the h/b too.

Not quite sure about the Polo unit. It will physically fit the cubby when closed, but will it fit open and still let you use 1st, 3rd and 5th?

Never thought about the leather trim covering the cup holder.

I'll have a look at how far the Polo cup holder pops out, but you probably wouldn't want to drive with it in use anyway, might spill yer pint

Thanks people. I was wondering about the second din, but I think you're right about not being able to drive at the same time. Will have a look at the aftermarket options

Move the stereo from the top DIN position to where the cubby hole is, and put the polo cup holder in where the stereo was. It should be high enough for the cups not to get in the way when gear changing
