Sounds Familiar

Featured Replies

I've been contemplating replacing my 1.8 Octavia Estate for some time and had decided to go down the MPV or SUV route. It was either a Nissan X-Trail or a Ford Galaxy. But sadly I've become attached to the old bus and don't want to say goodbye. So I thought, I'll keep the Octavia as a load lugger and get something interesting to accompany it. I'd pretty much decided on an Alfa Romeo 166. Lovely interior and beautiful engine noise. Did a search of the Alfa forums for any recurring problems, and it all seems strangely familiar somehow... cam belts prone to failure, water pump impellers prone to failure, MAF sensors prone to failure. I'm sure I've heard this before somewhere.

If you're keeping the Octy as a day to day car, why not go classic with a second car?
