Anyone know who can repair Skoda CD players?

My Audience radio has developed a fault with the internal CD player, shows VAG-COM fault code 0003 - control unit defective.

Anyone know who can repair these units? And at what cost that might be?

Or should I just bite the bullet and get a Columbus instead?!

There is an Audience on EBay for £120 - so one could only assume that a repair would cost less than that.

If you can find the funds for £500 - £600 for the Columbus then yes, go for it.

It's an amazing upgrade - I don't think I've spoken to or seen a Columbus buyer regret their purchase.

I guess I can stretch to fuding a Columbus. I've never seen/experenced one in action though, I'll see if my dealer has any cars in with one fitted so I can demo it.
