Hello fellow Briskodians, Just stripping the superb to change a CV joint when i found that the bolts holding the shaft onto the gearbox are splined and not torx type.Been through every toolbox in the place and can find an 8, a 6 and a 4, but no 10mm splined drive bit. Oh how I love it when things like that happen.!! :mad: Rant over.

GSF sell the tool to get these bolts out.

With a bit of ingenuity you can get the CV joint off the shaft without disturbing the inner joint - but it's easier with the driveshaft on the bench.

Went into Galway this morning and bought the required splined driver. Job done now.:).
