Superb test drive

Featured Replies

Seriously considering an Octy vRS TDI DSG as my next company car, but wanted to try a DSG box & diesel combination 1st, so went to my local dealer and took out a Superb Elegance TDI DSG, WOW, what a fabulously superb car! Utterly impressed with everything about it, smooth, quick, real quality feel, etc... Why anyone would buy a circa 25k car without trying one beats the crap out of me. This one was black with electric leather seats, park assist, 09 plate with 9k miles - 29k's worth list, up for 21k! Good buy I think :) Lovely car. Oh, DSG & TDI combo was brill, just hope the company lets me have one

I've been puzzled by this as well (seeing you don't see Superbs that often, on the roads) and I can only think of a couple of reasons: image & looks.

Silly, but still...

How the hell was it £29k. I had a Superb with everything bar sunroof and it came out at £25,450. Only a 3.6 would come out at £29k with options.

Octy vrs seems very poor value for money once you add on vitually ALL the available extras.

I am looking at the superb also and I am very tempted.

I cant see where you came up with £29k though. I specced up one on the website and cameup wth just over 24k.
