Felicia Headlights

Featured Replies

Please can someone tell me if it is possible and how to remove the headlights and take the glass off the front.

I have noticed that the headlight glass on my car is looking dirty but it is on the inside.

Is there any way to remove the glass to clean it?

Thanks for any advice given.

hi there, just new to the skoda but if your lights are like mine you should be able to remove glass, mine have two clips on the top of the light and usually they have another two on the bottom. just watch when your taking glass off that the seal doesnt hold the glass at any point and crack it. and mke sure its good and dry when your putting it back together, dont forget to put a bit of sealer around it !

Thanks Mac

I have noticed the clips but I am having a nightmare getting the actual lights free from the body.

It's not that easy to remove the glass from the body, those 4 clips are there for nothing, the glass is literally bonded to the body of the headlamp by the sealer which is damn hard to remove,if you force it you'll break the glass,if it's a mark 1 felicia you should be able to buy new headlamp glass from your dealer should you break them but I bet the best option is either to replace them for new or better second hand ones,If the headlamps are looking dull most common problem is the discolourisation of the headlamp reflector to which the only remedy are new headlamps.....
