Has anyone experienced a total loss of volume for radio, cd and i pod for a small period of time and then it returns as normal

Strangely this happened to me yesterday. Radio & CD did not work on my 40min drive to work, worked perfectly fine for my return journey. Still ok today.

Reasons for this? - I have no idea

Turn up the volume on your PDC on the stereo and the radio volume will stay the same. I prefer it going quieter myself.

Yes, its a common problem and a software one. There is a fix for it by flashing new firmware onto the headunit.

After a loud pop. Mine has done it a couple of times.
